Who is responsible for your information
Xara Cortex Holdings Inc. is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through GlobalWork. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to privacy@globalwork.academy.
Information we collect
When you start a GlobalWork early-access profile, we may collect your email address, name, phone number, country, city, current role, years of experience, technologies or professional skills, AI experience, learning or career intent, professional goals, job-search and remote-work interests, professional profile links, areas where you want help, organization or affiliation, expertise, partnership or engagement notes, consent choice, submission source, referrer, campaign parameters and submission timestamps. If file or résumé ingestion is enabled later, we may also store the file reference and information needed to associate it with your profile. We may receive limited technical information needed to protect the service from abuse.
How we use information
- Provide early-access information and product updates you requested.
- Understand interest in GlobalWork and improve its services.
- Respond to questions, privacy requests and support needs.
- Protect the website, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
We use consent for early-access communications. We may use legitimate interests for service security, aggregate analysis and operational improvement where those interests do not override your rights.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may use infrastructure and service providers, including Cloudflare, to host, secure and operate GlobalWork. Providers may process information only for contracted services and applicable legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law or in connection with a lawful corporate transaction.
International processing
GlobalWork serves a global audience. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We use appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards where required.
Retention
Early-access records are retained while your subscription or relationship remains active and ordinarily for no more than 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required for security, legal compliance or resolving a dispute. We then delete or anonymize the information.
Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to privacy@globalwork.academy. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Children
GlobalWork is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through early access.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, validation and abuse protection. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as GlobalWork develops. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
